About 8 out of 1000 babies are born with maladies of the heart. They require care and intervention very early as time is critical in saving their lives. This centre at CARE CHL diagnoses and treats a wide range of cardiac issues in newborns and fetuses alike, and also for children who suffer from a cardiac disorder slightly later in life.
Our Children's Heart Centre provides both invasive and non-invasive treatments. Neonatal and Paediatric Echocardiography, Device closure of ASD, VSD, PDA, Balloon Angioplasty (BAV, BPV, Coarctation Balloon Dilatation), Paediatric Cardiac Catheterization, Paediatric Arrhythmia and Cardiomyopathy are all performed by our expert doctors having years of experience.
This department has done the maximum number of device closures in central India. It boasts of numerous successful neonatal cardiac interventions. Our Children's Heart Centre is one of the few centres with adequate availability of Paediatric cardiac services at any given time.
