Brief Profile

Dr. Syed Touseef is a well-known Radiation Oncologist in HITEC City, Hyderabad with over 4 years of experience. He has had the opportunity to train and work under very diverse conditions. He underwent his oncology speciality training at Apollo Hospitals, Hyderabad, a Joint Commission International (JCI) accredited hospital and integrated Health City, specialising in the entire spectrum from illness to wellness and holistic therapy.

Following this, he joined Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research (JIPMER), Puducherry, a tertiary care referral government hospital which is an institute of national importance under the direct administrative control of the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India that focusses mainly on research and postgraduate teaching and consistently ranks among the top 5 medical institutes in India.

Dr. Touseef is trained in radiotherapy, chemotherapy delivery, and all other aspects of the management and care of cancer patients. He is proficient with all modern radiotherapy techniques like IMRT, IGRT, VMAT, SBRT, SRS, and brachytherapy. He has trained on various platforms and is well-versed with Varian’s ECLIPSE and Elekta’s MONACO treatment planning systems. He also has ample experience in palliative and supportive care and has successfully completed C.C.P.C. He has a keen interest in research activities and holds P.D.C.R. Dr. Touseef believes a healthy doctor-patient relationship to be the keystone of medical care and constantly makes an effort to keep his patients informed and involved in decision-making.
