Dr. Byreddy Poojitha completed her MBBS from Dr. NTR University of Health Sciences Andhra Pradesh and her Masters (MD) in Pathology from the prestigious Post Graduate Institute of Medical Education and Research [PGIMERY], Chandigarh with a Gold medal. Driven by a passion for specialization in hematological disorders, Dr. Poojitha pursued a Doctorate of Medicine [DM] in Clinical Hematology from Christian Medical College, Ludhiana, Punjab.

She has expertise in the diagnosis, treatment, and management of various benign and malignant haematological conditions. Dr. Poojitha gained hands-on experience in the comprehensive care of paediatric and adult haematology/oncology patients in outpatient clinics, wards, and intensive care settings. Her dedication to advancing her expertise further led her to gain proficiency in hematopoietic stem cell transplants, where she actively participated in the management of a significant number of pediatric and adult bone marrow transplant cases, including autologous and allogeneic transplants.

Dr. Poojitha is actively involved in academics and has published numerous research papers. She is an active member of the Indian Society of Hematology
and Bone Marrow Transplant (ISBMT), Member of the Society of Hematologic Oncology (SOHO), Member of the International Society of Thrombosis and Hemostasis (ISTH), and Member of the European Hematology Association (EHA).
