Dr Chanakya Kishore is one of the well-known Interventional cardiologists in India. He has been in the field of Cardiology for more than 25 years. He did his MBBS and MD from Kurnool Medical College, NTR University of Health Sciences, Andhra Pradesh in March 1992 & 1998 respectively. He also earned a DM specialization in Cardiology, from All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi in January 2003.

Dr. Chanakya Kishore is an expert Interventional Cardiologist. He has rich experience in performing complex angioplasties. He has done more than 30000 diagnostic procedures and 5000 therapeutic procedures. He is an expert in doing Trans radial procedures. He has vast experience in performing complex procedures like LMCA Stenting, Bifurcation stenting, and CTOs. He is skilled in doing procedures like Valvotomies, Peripheral Angioplasties, Carotid stenting, ASA for HOCM, Pacemaker and AICD implantations. He is well versed in Rotablation, FFR, IVUS Assisted Angioplasties and has knowledge in doing TAVR also.

He has presented interesting cases at National and International conferences and received best case presentation awards in Interventional Council meets in Paris and Poland. He has Paper publications in Cath CVI, JACC, and Indian Heart Journal. He is conferred with FACC by the American College of Cardiology in 2017 and FSCAI by the American Interventional Council in 2019.

Role of Trimetazadine in Unstable Angina, Progression of Aortic valve lesion in patients who underwent Mitral Valve Intervention. And the Intermediate-term result of Percutaneous Transvenous Mitral Commissurotomy in children less than 12 years of age
• At I.E.C.R. (Indo-European Council on Revascularization) in 2009 and; 2010, presented challenging coronary intervention cases and was rewarded the Best Case Presentation Award in IECR 2010
