Dr. Balaji Asegaonkar is a Consultant Anaesthesiologist at CARE CIIGMA Hospitals, Aurangabad from August 2002. He works in multispecialty like Cardiac sciences, Neurosurgery, etc. He has done 2000 open-heart cases including CABG (beating as well as on pump), valve replacement, congenital heart lesions repairs, and cases of Deep circulatory arrest. He has also done various lung cases like pneumonectomy, lobectomy etc. Apart from this, he has keen interest in paediatric anaesthesia.

He has performed many paediatric cases like cleft palate, cleft lip, congenital anomaly correction etc. Dr. Balaji has worked as Junior Anaesthesiologist in the Department of Cardiac anaesthesia Ruby Hall Clinic, Pune, which is one of the busiest cardiothoracic anaesthesia in the country. He worked as a Clinical Assistant at P.D. Hinduja National Hospital & Research Centre, Mumbai.
